Non-Adhesive Wrap Care

Not everyone has the option to use adhesive bandages to protect and care for their tattoos so you need to do it the good old fashioned way! After you leave the tattoo shop, when you get home, removed the plastic covering your tattoo and wash gently with warm water and antibacterial soap. Pat it  dry and wait about 30-45 minutes before applying aftercare. I recommend to use Aquaphor for the first 4-5 days, then switching to a non-scented lotion such as Lubriderm Daily Moisture. If you want the best product on the market, I recommend Hustle Butter. You can actually uses this After care from beginning to end and even after to maintain healing and integrity of the tattoo. Apply any after care 2-3 times a day for 3 weeks. Make sure to wash with antibacterial soap in between applications. After the tattoo is healed, apply Lubriderm of Hustle Butter to the tattoo at least twice a week to keep your tattoo looking vibrant and new for as long as possible!
